Default best deathmatch game?
In your opinion, what is the best deathmatch game?

Examples include Unreal, Quakeworld, Quake 2, Quake 3, Quake live, or something else?

Timesplitters 3 and Unreal Tournament are my favorites.

Unreal Tournament (the original GOTY edition) - the first game that really got me hooked on deathmatch - the 'assault' mode in particular was awesome. Always surprises me that more games haven't stolen the idea.
