Re: Favorite Sega system?
Sega Genesis was the only console to warrant any real merit in my opinion. It seems as though the creators shared that opinion as so many additions to it were made to extend the life of the console. It had all the games that made Sega noteworthy and few of those games were surpassed in quality or playability in titles released on later consoles. Sega Saturn was a complete and utter joke. I only had one because my parents accidentally bought the wrong thing at the advice of some dummy at Toys R Us. Dreamcast wasn't terrible but it wasn't really anything to phone home about when compared with other consoles of that immediate era.
Genesis is, hands down, my favorite Sega system. The others, in my view on history, just turned out to be desperate attempts to reclaim its lost greatness.
