What is most horrible pile of trash you've had the misfortune of popping into your system? Any system goes.

Ok, I'll go first, I'm going to say Roger Rabbit for NES. It looks, sounds, and plays like crap. Even for an NES game. They give no clue on what exactly you're supposed to do, you get killed by rats(I think that's what they are)in one hit, yet the cats and dogs(again?) take a couple hits to kill you. What is that about? Do the rats have the plague or something? Are rats Eddie's number one weakness? The controls are really awkward. You have to push select and left or right at same time to move through your inventory? Why? Why can't I just push Select? I might be trying to run away from a rat or something and I want my Spring Shoes! You only get 2 continues and this game may have the longest passwords ever. What a joke. I hate that freakin game. I bought it CIB for 6 bucks and it was like cherry mint, but I still think I got ripped off.

I believe popular consensus names that E.T. game for the Spectrum as the worst game of all time. The game sold so badly that they had to bury thousands of cartridges to dispose of them.

Personally, the worst game I've ever played is the PSone version of Carmageddon. That game is one of the worst ports I think I've ever seen. Even worse than the N64 version of Daikatana, because at least Dai sucked to start with.

It's been so many years but I do remember playing some very bad games on the snes, more than I can actually remember. I think now for the newer consoles companies don't take those chance and work hard at making better games.

I would love to agree with you but have taken a look at the Wii's overall library? For every Mario Galaxy or No More Heroes, there's 6 Party Babiez or Ninjabread Men. It's not even about taking chances anymore. These newer crappy games end up being sometimes highly, profitable. They're cheap to make, they sell cheap, and God help us, they sell. Did you know, last year Ubisoft sold well over a million copies of their Imagine line?
