Are you talking about for online games like Conduit and Call of Duty? If so, all you need is a open wi-fi connection. Go into the options menu on the Wii dashboard, look for the internet connection tab, and choose the connection you want to use. If you're trying to use a wired connection, you'll need an adapter. Those aren't very expensive, but you'll probably have to order one online. After that, it's just a matter of clicking the multiplayer option on your games' title menu. Pretty easy. The only downer is needing friend codes for certain games. I hope that was helpful.
