well tecmo bowl kickoff for ds is a really underrated game in my opinion. I mean come on its tecmo bowl!! the gameplay hasn't changed for the most part play calling is the same and buttons aren't diffrent either. but what has been added are super abilities where players will randomly preform sum type of super move to help turn the tide and give ur team a boost. sum of the powers include super juke,rocket pass,lighting juke,spectacular catch etc. there are no nfl teams due to ea hogging the license but u can basically create ur favorite teams with team creator and edit the rosters as well. there is a season mode where you play through a season and lead your team to a championship. after completing you will be givin points to upgrade your players attributes, boosting the overall stats of your team. this basically leads up to wi'fi multiplayer where u can take your team and play against other players. online works well and there is virtually no lag, however you will find lots of players disconnect if they are losing for there is no consequence for doing so. although that is a bummer its still fun to play. overall id recommend tecmo bowl kickoff to any fan of football and the old school tecmo bowls. there is plenty of replay value and you can spend hours just customizing teams whether u want to re create the nfl teams or make college teams or just create ur own wacky ones its up to you. and its only about $19.99 bucks new and 14.99 used at eb games u really cant go wrong.
