[Nintendo] Original NES Game Sells For 17,500!

Holy crap, I couldn't believe it! This video game just sold for $17,500 it was only one of 26 games of its type made for the NES and came in a gold cartridge!

The game in question is an ultra-rare, gold-colored version of Nintendo World Championships, a cartridge specially produced for use in a Nintendo-sponsored gaming contest

thats pretty insane a game would sell for $17,500 not sure I'd pay that for anything short of a nice car let alone a silly video game

Thats one of the rarest NES games ever made. But, 17,000? That ridiculous.

No doubt that the price is also fueled by the fact that that was like Wii Fit 1.0. It had the board and everything. Also Chrono Trigger you can sell for high if you have the original SNES version. With the box and everything that comes in it, you can sell it for 2.3k if I remember correctly from Game Informer. Of course after that I spent three hours searching through my closet filled with boxes which are filled with misc. videogame junk and found the game box, maps and manuals and obviously the game. Of course I'd never sell it cause I love it.
