Motion Plus in the new Zelda - Nintendo Forums

Of course we pretty much all expected the Motion Plus to replicate actually swinging the Master Sword, but then Miyamoto made this statement about the targeting system: "In the previous game, you aimed at things by pointing at the screen, but this time we’ll use MotionPlus to create a much more convenient targeting system and a more pleasurable playing experience." What do you all think about this? Sounds more and more like Motion Plus is a requirement rather than an option. Is Nintendo assuming that everyone will either have already bought Wii Sports Resort or everyone's gonna shell out an extra 20 bucks to play Zelda?

good choice nintendo. Wii motion plus was practically made for a zelda game cant wait for more information.BTW wasn't there supposed to be a trailer shown in October?

No trailer for October. That was speculation. Nintendo had a retail conference or something like that and everybody assumed it was going to be this huge, huge thing. It turned out all they did was talk about sales figures and show that new Pikachu game. That's what we get I suppose.
