put my wii on tonight and its no longer sucking the disc in or spitting it back out. it was fine last night. everything comes up when i put it on its just not sucking in the disc
What could it be?

It sounds like the disc drive. I'm not a professional by any stretch, but that's what it seems like. If that is the case, my local game shop fixes systems and they charge about 90 bucks to replace a drive. Not cheap sadly.
