Default What happened to this forum?

I remember when it use to be a very fun place to be, lots of members logged on at all hours, constant chatting going on, very busy and updates every week. What happened???* This is very dull & boring compared to how it was in the past....Not much fun at all.....

I don't know either, it was lively and bustling 2-3 months ago, and now it's so quiet.

Although at the same time, I'm glad at least there's a new topic (albeit it being about the state of forum). I was worrying that everyone forgot about this place entirely and it's empty.

Well it's just people get busy and have to stop getting on for a little bit and a little bit becomes a long time and then they never get the chance. The forum use to be really popular. I really like it and though it was going to be big but stuff happens. I think there might be another shot during the summer but for now with school and tests coming up soon nobody's gling to be able to get on. IDK. Everybody has there reasons. I just got a computer (My old one broke) so if I see a thread I will reply. I might be more active. Just depends on everybody's activity. I mean it's not a individuals fault but most of the members fault.

Yeah, this forum used to be one of the most active places back in 2010/2011, it was just outright awesome, I was thinking the same too.

But yeah, in general it seems activity isn't based sole on an individual member alone, but a portion of the members also, if members aren't making new threads or talking a lot, it's likely other members will notice things dying down and not coming online to post very often. And eventually things just get empty. Traffic coming from new members may have gone down since the main page has been/is still down for redesign, but I dunno. I do think/hope if people started posting again things could get back alive like it was in the past before.

It's nice to hear you got a new computer speaking of which

I miss this community a lot. I wish it was still active. I felt like I was a part of the community. It's hard to explain, but at other forums I just don't feel like I belong there as much... like I'm just a background member.

I miss the good times we had here. At least we know it isn't going anywhere.. Impulse did say he's got everything paid for the next few years.

It is indeed really sad how quiet this forum has become. I mean, the staff is still here and all, but we're all busy in some form or another. But, if you read my announcement for New Years, we're still here and we're not going anywhere (like shutting down-wise).

I know how much you guys love NF/NA and I do too. I've tried my best to spread the word around, but I guess I'm just not so good at that kind of stuff. It'd be great if you guys brought the activity to the forum. I know a lot of you go on different forums, and maybe if they have an advertising area, you could spread the word around about us. Members run the community, rather than the staff, and it's you guys that make this place great.

That being said, I hope NF gets back on its feet. Instead of you guys reminiscing about the past, push the word out so we can get this place rolling again.

P.S: For those of you who are still wondering, Impulse is still working on the new skin. I'm sure if there was more activity, he'd speed things up and release the skin earlier.

it is very sad and it's now looking back i remember how active it was and i do miss that.

that being said however, me personally i've grown up somewhat since then and even though i love forums and stuff i have a lot of irl stuff going on. For example i work a lot and i may move out on my own soon... SO it's kind of like all this stuff's going on and then i'm like "oh yea, that forum...." lol anyone else feel that way too? idk but i'll try to be on more
