Last month, Minecraft was fully released (v1.0.0)by Mojang, introducing The End, enchantments, potions and more. Also, Minecon was held, gathering Minecraft players around the world in Las Vegas. Mojang was making major advancements in Minecraft, so Re-Logic thought it was time to catch up.

A few weeks ago, Re-Logic introduced Terraria 1.1, boasting
much more new features than 1.1. It took me a day to figure out Minecraft 1.0.0, but it took me three days to figure out Terraria 1.1! Though a much newer game than Minecraft, Terraria has started to show superiority. One of the many new features of Terraria 1.1 is Wire, which is circuitry in Terraria, much alike Minecraft's redstone while being so much different at the same time. I always imagined what wiring in Terraria would be like, but Re-Logic made it better than I could ever imagine.
This lava duplicator is an example of what wire in Terraria can produce.
I found wiring in Terraria much easier than redstoning in Minecraft. In Minecraft, you are required to make a system of blocks and torches to carry a redstone charge up. In Terraria, you can just make a wire go up. In Minecraft, redstone charges can run out. In Terraria, that is not so. In Minecraft, you need to use pistons and repeaters to make a toggled floor. In Terraria, all you need are active stone blocks.
What are your opinions on this topic? Do you believe that wire is better than Redstone? Do you think this will make Terraria more popular?
