It now is priced at 125£ and it seems quite tempting to get it with OOT, as i really miss the game from the N64 days, one of the first video games i ever played, after the super mario on snes.
But even at 125£ it just feels like they will release the next revision of it in a few months and i will feel like a total idiot, cause it will most likely have the second analog, and the one ill have will be obsolete, or look totally pathetic with the second analog stick add-on... I really feel like playing OOT, and it just doesn't feel right playing it with a ps3 controller on an emulator... Also i would have a reason to pop in here more often, but it just feels like a waste of money at the moment... Maybe i should wait for Vita, but i don't quite have any games i want to play on it, also while having the eye candy on it, it isn't really what i like my games for... (go minecraft!) Anyways, is it worth or not getting one now, and why please. What do other owners can tell about it? Can it play movies? Is OOT much nicer looking than N64 version? Are there many changes? |

The 3DS is worth is. It can play movies via Netflix. OOT has better graphics, has two screens, and is in 3D. The 3DS has a larger top screen, it has an internet browser, it has a 3D camera, etc. In November, Nintendo will release an update that will include a video recorder.

Well its either the 3DS or an SSD for my alienware m11x R3... I can copy videos to my phone and watch them, i don't really use netflix. Don't really care about 3D either, i am one of those who can't see 3D, at least in cinema... can access internet on my phone too, so it isn't much use either, don't need wifi for that either.
Really only positive things on the buy 3DS side of the road are ability to play DS games, lovi'n world ends with you, plus the nicer screen for OOT. Other than that, battery life is crap, stylus is on the wrong side, and i hear the next revision will have the second analog... thus making 3DS sort-of obsolete... Even though i want OOT very much, i just kind of can't justify spending 140£ just to play OOT... |

I would say, go out and get it. You have Super Mario Land and Mario Kart both coming out in the next 3 months. Then you have a strong lineup for the first half of the year next year. GO GET IT! |

I'd say it's worth it now. It has a handful of great games (I own all but 1 that are currently out, still need to get MK7) However, there's a ton coming soon! MGS3DS, Resident Evil Revelations....etc :D
I love my 3DS although I know i'll be playing my Vita more comes launch day for it but the 3DS is really good and at $169.99, you can't really go wrong! |

It worth it. With the price drop its much cheaper and with games such as Star Fox 64 3D,Super Mario 3D Land, and Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time 3D why not?
___________ My favorite Nintendo games: Super Smash Bros Brawl Super Smash Bros Melee Mario Kart Wii Mario Kart 7 Star Fox 64 Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn F-Zero GX New Super Maro Bros Kirby Return to Dream Land |
